Georgina Whelan

Hi, I’m George

I hope to expand your sexual world by opening your mind to new possibilities, identifying barriers to sexual intimacy, and providing sexual knowledge and strategies to enhance sexual pleasure.

I have wide-ranging experience in human sexuality, both personally and professionally. I take an adventurous and inquisitive approach to sex. I find people’s sexuality intriguing and rich with meaning.

I view therapy as a flexible, dynamic, exploratory and collaborative process of self discovery. My aim is to foster self-understanding and curiosity. I provide direct interventions and help you develop a network of supports where you can gently stretch out of your comfort zone and achieve your desired outcome.

My Approach

  1. Define an objective, outcome or goal
  2. Identifying pathways and obstacles to achieving these outcomes
  3. Teaching skills and techniques as required
  4. Enhancing motivation and goodwill to change
  5. Identifying and treating co-occurring mental health conditions
  6. Setting behavioural tasks for you to apply outside of session
  7. Including partner’s in treatment when possible
